A one-act play group is a small theatre ensemble (5-15 people) focused on performing short plays (one-act plays) centered on a single event, plot, setting, and limited characters. The goal is a quick, impactful theatrical experience, emphasizing intense focus on one core story. The plays are various genres...drama, comedy, suspense, etc. One of our class goals would be competing in a one-act play competition in the Fall.
It’s a 1 hour/week class for 12 weeks. The cost for the class is $400 for the whole 12 weeks. We have 2 different class times to choose from...Monday 1-2 or Thursday 3:30-4:30. (Each class will be structured the same, but will work on 2 different plays.) This class is Step Up eligible and other discounts/scholarship opportunities are available.
